OUR SERVICE
The Learning Centre can be regarded as a specialist, complementary educational service. We are often used to help those those pupils who have not responded to in-school literacy intervention programmes
Make a Referral
Anyone can refer their child to the Learning Centre, by phone or by post.
We accept referrals from parents, school, GPs and other health professionals.
We always talk to the child's parent or school, prior to their visit, to ensure that the assessment we provide is appropriate for your child's needs.
We currently provide educational assessments for children struggling with literacy, mathematics and for those in need of exam concessions.
The cost of an assessment is £300. Means tested bursaries are available.
If you are unable to afford this charge, please telephone the head teacher as we may be able to help. It is possible to pay for an assessment in instalments and, depending on your borough of residence, bursary funding might be available.
