OUR PHILOSOPHY
The Learning Centre can be regarded as a specialist, complementary educational service. We are often used to help those pupils who have not responded to in-school literacy intervention programmes.

Most workshops and training are ½ day events Starting between 9.30-10.00 and finishing 12.30-13.00

September 22nd - Help your Child learn to Read (Part 1)
September 29th - Help your Child learn to Read (Part 2)
October 6th - Help your Child learn to Read (optional 3rd Part)
October 8th - Working with Synthetic Phonics in the Classroom
November 17th - Working with Synthetic Phonics in the Classroom
November 25th - Understanding Educational Assessments for SENCOs, teachers and TAs
Further events will include repeats of the above, handwriting, study skills, numeracy and perhaps topics suggested by popular demand
Trainers include: Clair Baker and Tami Reis-Frankfort, creators of Dandelion Readers, Sarah Horner, Rosey McCracken and Penny Tolson
